BREAK-THRU PROJECT
DEVELOPMENT WORKER
36¼ hours per week. Salary £22,000
The BREAK-THRU project, which is located in the centre of the Hilltown, is funded to provide an intensive support service to disadvantaged adults across Dundee who wish to make life changes in order to create a more positive future for themselves.
We are currently developing a Social Enterprise based on the extremely successful BREAK-THRU model and are seeking a highly motivated Development Worker to join our small, but vibrant, team to assist with this process and work with a client case load.
This Post will require you to take a person-centred approach to empowering clients to achieve the results they desire; by identifying the needs of clients, developing support plans and ensuring relevant interventions are in place utilising a multi-agency approach where necessary. In addition, you will assist the Board of Directors and Project Manager to move forward with the development of a sustainable income generation strand by increasing awareness of services and expanding client groups.

LGBT Youth Scotland
Schools Development Officer
Based in Dundee (part-time – 18hrs per week)
£23,080 - £25,550 (pro rata)
LGBT Youth Scotland is looking for a dynamic, skilled and motivated individual to be part of our schools project. You will deliver youth work sessions in schools using LGBT Youth Scotland’s Toolkit for Teachers (Dealing with Homophobia and Homophobic Bullying in Scottish Schools). You will ensure that young people participate in the planning and delivery of activities, using a range of methods including peer learning and co-teaching. You will support young people who are coming out and work closely with key partner organisations.
This post is funded by the National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund

Youth & Community Development Worker
Based in Dundee (Sessional – minimum of 10 hours per week)

You will support the development of our work with LGBT young people, groups and networks in the area, and work in partnership with local stakeholders. Key tasks:
