If you want telling information on what works when tackling ASB and youth offending in your community, then you will benefit greatly from the ideas to be shared at an upcoming conference, in Edinburgh on Tuesday 13th July 2010 at the John McIntyre Conference Centre.
The speaker line-up, advanced-level programme and value for money (only £149 plus VAT) towers over all others.
You will take away core insights which will enable community leaders, policy makers and front-line workers in the fight against ASB, to find the delicate point of balance between what works and what communities demand.
Of the 10 obstacles for which you will hear innovative solutions, here are 4:
1. Minority inclusion - you're shown innovative processes which will promote cultural understanding, break down barriers and establish fairer community relations. (10:30 am)
2. Young people and parenting - you tap into the latest thinking, direct from Scotland's ASB Strategy Action Plan, on the precise impact parenting has on the "me" generation. (11:00 am)
3. Language concerns - straight from a trail-blazing project in Bradford you discover why improving the speech and language skills of perpetrators reduces re-offending rates dramatically. (12:15 pm)
4. Joint responsibility - you're shown new and enterprising policies that will ensure you have a co-ordinated, workable and uniform approach to ASB. (2:30 pm)
