Summary: Celebrate will support new and existing events and activities that mark the 2014 Commonwealth Games through arts, heritage, sports and local community celebrations. It will fund local celebration events and activities which stimulate greater involvement in community activity and develop our understanding as citizens of the Commonwealth. Celebrations can be a single one-off event or activities which end with a celebration event.

Summary: The Clothworkers Foundation awards capital grants to UK registered charities with an annual income of less than £15m. Summary: The Trust offers grant assistance to UK community groups and charities supporting projects for children and young people under the age of 25 who are from disadvantaged backgrounds or disabled. Grant priorities are to fund specific education programmes. They will also fund projects from UK charities working on overseas project with disadvantaged or disabled children or young people in developing countries.

Ernest Cook Trust

Summary: The Ernest Cook Trust offers grants to organisations working to encourage young people’s interest in the countryside, the environment, the arts or that aim to raise levels of literacy and numeracy. Summary: The FSC Kids Fund aims to bring environmental understanding to disadvantaged young people by enabling them to attend a course at one of the seventeen FSC centres situated in rural locations across the UK. Summary: The programme focuses on improving access to advice for people in Scotland with a view to promoting achievement of particular priority outcomes. There are three streams of funding with each with different priorities. Strengthening Disabled Peoples User Led Organisations Programme

Award Amount: A typical award is to be up to £12,500. Bids for more than this amount may be considered and DPULOs can receive up to a maximum of £30,000 over the duration of the whole programme (ie until March 2015).

Summary: The Government's Strengthening Disabled People’s User-Led Organisations (DPULOs) Programme Facilitation Fund aims to to improve the sustainability of groups that are led and controlled by disabled people and that have a minimum membership of 51% (working towards 75%) of disabled people on their board. The funding offers one-off or short-term payments to DPULOs that can support disabled people to have more choice and control over their lives.
