Summary: Comic Relief aim to bring positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people,through investing in work that addresses people’s immediate needs as well as tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. Indigo Trust

Summary: Part of The Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts (SFCT), the Indigo Trust funds technology-driven projects to bring about social change, largely in African countries. Organisations applying should be operating wholly or partly in at least one African country or else specifically seeking to benefit those who do work and live in Africa. Technology must be integrated into a well-devised project, which will have a social impact, be well researched and tackling an unmet need.

International Communities - Big Lottery

Summary: The Big Lottery International Communities programme funds projects that tackle the causes of poverty and deprivation and bring about a long-term difference to the lives of the most disadvantaged people in the world. Open to UK based NGOs and Third Sector organisations working with overseas partner(s) in Africa, Asia, Middle East, Central and South America, Caribbean, and parts of Eastern Europe.
