An online resource for your Council for Voluntary Service or Third Sector Interface
Why not add the Community Toolkit to your own website?
The Community Toolkit resource is available to other CVS /Third Sector interface as a syndicated content feed. This means that you can add any of the generic content of the Community Toolkit onto your website as your own Toolkit.

Depending on the complexity (or simplicity) of your website, you can choose to add the whole Toolkit resource or pick and choose certain section that you want to include on your own website. You can even add your own local branding and content to tailor the Toolkit to your own local area.
Download our Community Toolkit leaflet for more information

If you don't have a website yet - ask us about a special package which includes a Sitekit CMS site and the Toolkit feed all in one. But don't just take our word for it

Why not have a look at other CVS websites now featuring the Community Toolkit:- CVS Partner Update
We are delighted to say that we have recently collated interest from 26 CVS/Third Sector interface and are currently working with the SVA Programme team to secure BIG Lottery SVA funding through the Developing Organisations strand. This would enable us to offer a FREE trial period for the Toolkit feed (for the duration of the SVA Programme). Watch this space....
Voluntary Action Perthshire will soon be launching their new website featuring  the Community Toolkit resource. Content Managed for you - you don't have to worry about keeping the Toolkit up to date
We all know that a website which is not updated can be next to useless and we are committed to keeping the Community Toolkit up to date on a daily basis. We respond to updates in legislation, changes to good practice, policies etc and verify all sources of information before they are published to the Toolkit. So, the best part of all this is that you won't have to worry about keeping the Toolkit up to date, because we'll do that for you. How much will it cost?
The Community Toolkit online resource comes to you as a ready made resource which is content managed for you. The cost is £1,200 a year syndicate fee - this buys you the content and the maintenance.
There are various methods of integration possible depending on the type of website you already have or are developing - integration costs are up to you - but the simplest method would involve no extra costs at all.
You get support to help with the set up of the feed and online support included. If you need extra support or want to try something very technical with the integration (such as is being pioneered by CVS Falkirk & District) then this can be purchased as an optional extra.
For more information Contact Michelle Seviour at Skye & Lochalsh CVO to see how the Community Toolkit can work for YOUR CVS or voluntary sector interface. Or give us a call on 01478 612921. How it all started....
This unique award winning on-line resource began in the Skye & Lochalsh area as a partnership project involving local community groups, Skye & Lochalsh CVO the local Enterprise Company and Highland Council. It contains a wealth of information to help community groups & projects get off the ground as well as all the 'tools' they need along the way to keep them operating efficiently and within the law. It pulls together a lot of the information already available from CVS's and other agencies as well as responsibly signposting online resources which are already in existence. Why not just add a link?
We have no objection at all if you would like to create a link to our own website which of course features the Community Toolkit as a feed. Do bear in mind however that this will be the Skye & Lochalsh Community Toolkit and that some of the information will be local to our area. This will simply be a static link - you wont be able to customise it.  If you provide a link to this website from your own organisation's website, please word the link 'Skye and Lochalsh Community Toolkit' and direct it to http://www.slcvo.org.uk/toolkit .

Please contact us if you would like to provided a link or seek a reciprocal link.
If you want your own CVS or Voluntary Sector Interface to have a Community Toolkit then contact us to discuss the syndicate feed option detailed above.
