Dundee Voluntary Action: Developing and Supporting the Voluntary Sector

Message from Joanne Farrow,Employability Learning Network Development Manager,Scottish Government - Employability Delivery Team

Given the tight timescales (deadline 29 January), I just wanted to draw your attention to the DWP UK Third Sector Financial Inclusion tendering exercise currently underway. The DWP Scottish Financial Inclusion Champions are looking to support new and innovative financial inclusion activity and are seeking proposals from established Third Sector not for profit organisations and partners with a track record in their area to support small-scale financial inclusion initiatives.

They will look to support Financial Inclusion activity across the following areas:

  • Employability
  • Positive Youth Destinations
  • Decreasing Poverty
  • Homeless/Vulnerable Housed
  • Addiction
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Wellbeing

I've posted  further information on who is eligible to apply,  the range of funding and what it can be used for  on the Employability in Scotland website, please  use the following link to access these details - http://www.employabilityinscotland.com/dwpfinancialinclusiontenderexercise.aspx .

Could I ask for your assistance in circulating to Third Sector colleagues who may be interested in tendering for this.

Kind Regards

Joanne
