Rotary Club Dundee Bursary

A Training Fund Bursary of £1,000 has been made available to voluntary and community groups in Dundee thanks to a donation from the Rotary Club of Dundee. The fund will benefit organisations who for whatever reason cannot fund the training themselves. Training should be that offered by Voluntary Gateway.

The Rotary Club of Dundee is part of Rotary International which is the first and indeed the largest service organisation in the world. The Club has around 97 members and has been supporting both local and international Communities for the past 90+ years. We do this in a number of different ways ranging from the more obvious fund-raising projects through to organising and managing youth competitions and training camps to name but a few. We aim to make a difference and are careful where we distribute the funds we raise, we like to see the charities we support in operation. However we realise that not all charities will know about the work that Rotary does and perhaps won’t have the resources available to them to take advantage. The Rotary Club of Dundee hope that by forging this link with the DVA we will be able to reach some of the smaller local charities and help ‘make a difference’.
