SUPPLY TRANSLATOR/INTERPRETERS

Dundee Translation & Interpreting Service is now recruiting for supply translator/interpreters to work across the Tayside area.  Applications should be submitted through www.dundeecity.gov.uk (Vacancies page) where the post information can be found.  The advert will be live from Friday 3 February for 4 weeks.  In order to be considered, applications must be received within this time scale.  Applications will then be shortleeted and if the minimum criteria is met, applicants will be invited for interview and language skills assessment

 

Title: LINK UP COMMUNITY FACILITATOR

37.5 hrs per week (may include evenings and weekends)

£26,331 - £28,680 plus travel expenses

Link Up is an innovative programme that is exploring a new approach to improving the resilience of communities in Scotland. The programme focuses on using the assets in the local community to create opportunity for people to help each other or ‘links’.

Link up is being run in Whitfield through a partnership between the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) and Inspiring Scotland. They are seeking a talented facilitator to develop, implement and run the programme until March 2014.

The successful candidate will have experience of developing community-led projects in areas of deprivation and will understand how to apply an asset based approach. Self motivation and strong organisational skills are essential.
